a letter to death
a letter to Death is a project formed by a deep fascination for all the people that lay buried underneath the ground, which was fueled when i was stood in a graveyard for the first time in a very long time, in october 2020. Death has been collecting our lives since the beginning of time, and therefore also gathers the knowledge, experiences and perspectives those lives contain.
i decided to write Death a letter that contained my questions about these people, about the world, and about the relationship between Death and myself. the work is about a deep human connection that transcends time or space - about a fate that we all share and question.
